Papamoa Cricket Club win ND Club of the Year

Established less than six years ago, Pāpāmoa Cricket Club has won the Northern Districts Cricket Association Club of the Year award. Based at Alice Johnson Oval, teams from the club first played in the 2018-19 season when it fielded 12 school-age sides, including a women’s team, along with three senior men’s sides. PAPAMOA BREAK THROUGH FOR FIRST BAY OF PLENTY CUP WIN

Papamoa made their breakthrough first win in the Bay of Plenty Cup on Saturday (21 November 2020), after earning admission to Baywide cricket at the start of the 2020/21 season. Papamoa Win McNaughton Trophy Under Lights at The Bay Oval

Papamoa won the McNaughton Trophy, on a beautiful autumn evening at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui - when they defeated the Greerton Sikh XI, in front of the biggest crowd seen at club cricket in the Western Bay for many a day. Unfortunately the PCC Hurricanes saturday morning game was cancelled with the early morning rain. However, the year 9 PCC team put the call out that they were short of players. PAPAMOA COMBINED B GRADE SIDE TOPPLE TOP RESERVE GRADE TEAM.

On a fantastically beautiful Sunday PCC played our first ever game in the McNaughton Trophy against the current top of the table WBOPCA reserve grade side Singh XI. After a delay in the toss caused by the opposition arriving only 15 minutes prior to the start of play PCC we inserted. Superstars Cricket Academy starts tonight

Tonight our youngest members get their first taste of Cricket for the 2018/19 season with the Superstars Cricket Academy kicking off at 5PM on Alice Johnson Oval.
